PLEASE NOTE - When curves or angles are involved, there will be a certain amount of wastage. In particular this will depend on the shape of the turf pieces so check with supplier before ordering.
COMPLEX SHAPES - When calculating awkward
areas, divide them into manageable sections.
For example, X and Y below look complex, but
X becomes a rectangle and two triangles, and Y
becomes a rectangle minus half a circle. Now you can use the rules above to work out
the areas.
